Scope: SPT (Stolle Precision
Tool Company) supplies high quality replacement tooling for beverage and food
can top manufacturers. For the can industry's 1998 international tradeshow,
they hired LineMark to design an exhibit that would accomplish several goals:
Use the 600 sq. ft. of space most effectively, be flexible for future use
and modifications, be portable to avoid the need for professional shipping and
set-up, and present a striking, world-class appearance. All of this
was to be accomplished within strict budget considerations.
To meet these goals, LineMark built a scale model of the proposed
exhibit for SPT to consider during the design phase. The completed
display consisted of a three-sided 10' tower in the center with three
shelving units with halogen lighting that provided organized display space
for SPT's small tooling parts. The center tower was connected to three
8' pylons with flying bridges featuring back-lit graphics.
Other graphics included full-panel photos and logos on the outside of the
pylons, text panels on the inside, and photo graphics on the tower corners.
In addition to these structures, LineMark also supplied two matching
counter units with locking storage space, flying nylon banners, and SoftStep rubber flooring as
an alternative to the usual show-rental carpet.
Result: The resulting
exhibit exceeded all their goals, and hit a "home run" at the international
tradeshow. The exhibit was set-up prior to the tradeshow at SPT's
manufacturing facilities to anchor an employee open house.
Client: Links, Inc.
Project: Portable Tradeshow Display
Scope: This supplier of corporate
promotional golf products and programs needed a high quality, eye-catching
portable display for tradeshows and other events. LineMark
supplied an easy to setup 8’x10’ pop-up display with a matching podium, and a complete custom graphics package. All graphics
were designed to coordinate with the client’s printed materials, and included
a back-lit header, logo and text signage, and product photos digitally composited
into large “golf ball” graphics.
Result: After their first
exposure, Links’ managers reported that they had “the best booth at the
show,” and they’re excited about using their eye-catching booth at future
shows.
